Things to do in Sydney

Taronga Zoo

blog

Taronga Zoo is one of the most amazing places to visit in all of Australia.  They have a wide and complete range of exotic and native species including koalas, kangroos, platypus, emus, monkeys, spiders, snakes, giraffes, penguins, seals, otters, elephants and many more.

The most incredible thing about Taronga Zoo is its location… right on Sydney Harbour which enhances its breath taking beauty. It is located over the elevated land that looks out towards the Sydney Opera House.

GETTING THERE IS EASY

If you intend to travel to the Zoo, just walk from the Original Backpackers Hostel in Kings Cross Sydney, walk down to Circular Quay.  Buy a Ferry ticket and enjoy the ride across Sydney Harbour to the Zoo.  You can also opt for the Sky Safari Cable Car which will give you the most beautiful views of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and many other nearby places.

While at the Zoo, make sure that you visit the Rainforest Trail as well as Seal Walk.

The beauty of Taronga Zoo is not only restricted to the wildlife but you can also enjoy the Seal Shows, Centenary Theater, Forage and Graze Café, Taronga Food Market and The View Restaurant.  If you get tired of walking around, get the scenic view from above and travel over the Sky Safari Cable Car.

Enjoy your trip to Sydney Taronga Zoo.
